This isn’t art-related, but these sorts of projects take up a lot of my time and energy so it seems relevant. I epoxied our stone bathtub with Klass Kote (custom color Insignia Blue). It was quite the endeavor, but it came out great. If you are planning to use this epoxy or similar, for the love of god wear a properly fitting respirator with new cartridges, goggles, and chemical resistant gloves. Also move your pets out of the house and prepare to sleep outside/elsewhere for at least one night.
We finally got to visit the Botanical Garden and also see the "Guardians of the Seeds", Thomas Dambo trolls.
That is all.
(These are not my photos, btw. I wish they were! I would love to see a live volcano snail in person.)
Finally, all of the squares are sewn onto the backing! To do:
I found a baby grasshopper today. It was very tiny.
There aren’t many plants growing yet, and there is still snow on the ground. It’s still getting below freezing at night. So I decided to offer this little friend a treat.
