1/8/19 Ermine visitation

I was working at the desk and noticed a movement out of the corner of my eye, when I looked up I saw an ermine looking at me through the sliding glass door! S(he) bounded away too quickly for me to get a photo but here are the footprints. This is the second time I’ve seen the ermine (the first was by the woodpile— s(he) looked right at me when I was letting the dogs in the house). And not so coincidentally we haven’t seen any mice around the garage this winter. Thanks, Ermine!
